Reacting to Ajmal’s proposal, Assam Congress President Bhupen Kumar Bora stated that no such alliance between the 2 opposition events will occur once more in future.

“We have always been saying that the AIUDF is equally communal like the BJP. We will tie up with the people of Dhubri, but not with a trader,” he stated, referring to Ajmal’s fragrance enterprise.
