Barcelona have bought a 24.5% stake of their audiovisual studio to manufacturing firm Orpheus Media for 100 million euros ($102.93 million), the LaLiga membership stated on Friday, as they appear to lift extra funds to register new gamers.
The settlement comes after the membership signed a cope with digital fan token agency Socios.com to dump 25% of their stake in Barca Studios final month.
“With this investment, the strategic partners in Barca Studios show confidence in the value of the project and the future of digital content in the world of sport,” the membership stated in a press release
Barca have been utilizing a number of mechanisms to extend their income as a way to offset losses, cut back debt and fulfill LaLiga’s monetary honest play guidelines.
