BFI suspends former second normal Jay Kovali for “negligence in duty”

The Boxing Federation of India has suspended its former normal secretary and Maharashtra state physique president Jay Kovali after its disciplinary committee dominated that he had did not carry out his duties within the present position.

“Therefore, the BFI’s Disciplinary Committee recommended that he be suspended from the sport until he could provide a plausible explanation for his actions. If he does so, the decision may be reconsidered,” he stated.

Kovali has had a checkered run within the nationwide federation. He served as Secretary General underneath two presidents – Sandeep Jajodia-led Boxing India in 2015 and Ajay Singh-led Boxing Federation of India from 2016 to 2021.

He had a dispute with each of them over many variations associated to administration.
