The courtroom of Justice Vikas Kumar issued the warrant on the premise of a criticism by an ex-serviceman and Begusarai resident Shambhu Kumar.
Kumar, in his criticism in 2020, had alleged that the collection ‘XXX’ (Season 2) featured a number of objectionable scenes involving the spouse of a soldier.
Kumar’s lawyer Hrishikesh Pathak stated, “The series was aired on Alt Balaji, an OTT platform owned by Ekta Kapoor’s Balaji Telefilms Ltd. Shobha Kapoor is also associated with Balaji Telefilms.”
“The courtroom had issued summons to him (Kapoor) and requested him to look earlier than it in reference to the matter. However, he (Kapoor) knowledgeable the courtroom that some scenes from the collection had been dropped following objections. But he didn’t seem earlier than the courtroom after which a warrant was issued in opposition to him.
