Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro was admitted to the hospital on Monday with an intestinal obstruction, however his situation is secure, the hospital stated in a medical notice.
The President’s Office had earlier stated that he was experiencing stomach ache.
Sao Paulo’s Vila Nova Star Hospital stated in its notice that he was admitted there early Monday as a consequence of an intestinal obstruction.
“His condition is stable, he is undergoing treatment and will be reevaluated this morning by the team of Doctor Antonio Luiz de Vasconcelos Macedo. At the moment, there is no estimation of his discharge,” it stated.
TV community Globo confirmed photos of Bolsonaro strolling down the steps of the presidential aircraft after touchdown in So Paulo at round 1:30 pm (0430 GMT), then being taken to Vila Nova Star Hospital, Globo stated.
Bolsonaro has been hospitalized a number of occasions since being stabbed throughout his presidential marketing campaign in 2018. In July 2021, he was taken to the Villa Nova star as a consequence of an intestinal obstruction after affected by continual hiccups.
Bolsonaro was vacationing within the southern state of Santa Catarina.
