Earlier, the Indian males’s doubles pair of Dhruv Kapila and MR Arjun reached the quarter-finals of the World Championships with a behind-the-scenes win over Terry Hee and Loh Keen Heen. The unseeded Indian pair struggled laborious for 58 minutes to register an 18-21, 21-15, 21-16 win over Singapore of their sixteenth spherical towards Singapore.
