CBSE and AICTE launch Innovation Ambassador Program to coach lecturers in Design Thinking, AI

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has collaborated with All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) to launch the Innovation Ambassador Programme.

Under this, lecturers of CBSE affiliated colleges shall be skilled on 5 modules- Design Thinking and Innovation, Idea Generation and Ideal Hand Holding, Intellectual Property Rights (IPR), Product/Prototype Development, Finance, Sales and Human Resources.

Abhay Jere, Chief Innovation Officer, AICTE stated that this may also help in strengthening the mentoring capability to nurture the concepts of the scholars. He stated that this is able to systematically promote a tradition of innovation at school schooling throughout the nation.

CBSE Chairman Manoj Ahuja spoke concerning the coaching program underneath AICTE with AICTE underneath ATAL Academy and coaching of lecturers in new areas AI, Blockchain, Coding and Cyber ​​Security.

He stated that there’s a want for an enabling atmosphere within the colleges for the scholars to take up progressive duties and suppose. Students have to be mentored to align schooling with the targets of NEP 2020.

Director Training and Skills Biswajit Saha welcomed the joint efforts of the 2 premier institutes and emphasised on creating innovation golf equipment in colleges to nurture future leaders. More than 40,000 lecturers participated within the on-line consciousness program organized in help of the Innovation Ambassador Program.
