Center notifies switch of Justice Bhandari from Allahabad to Madras High Court

The Center on Tuesday issued a notification transferring Justice MN Bhandari from the Allahabad High Court to the Madras High Court.

“In train of the ability conferred by clause (I) of Article 222 of the Constitution of India, the President, after session with the Chief Justice of India, is happy to switch Shri Justice Munishwar Nath Bhandari, Judge of the High Court of Allahabad, as a Judge of the Madras High Court and to direct him to take cost of his workplace within the Madras High Court,” a notification from the Ministry of Law mentioned.

As the senior-most choose within the Madras HC, Justice Bhandari is prone to take over because the appearing Chief Justice.
