Cheetahs return to India Stay Updates: PM Modi to launch huge cats introduced from Namibia in MP’s Kuno National Park

What does it take to efficiently drive huge cats like cheetahs out of their pure habitat?

On Friday (16 September) a modified passenger B-747 jumbo jet will take off from Hose Kutako International Airport in Windhoek, Namibia for Gwalior. Eight Namibian wild cheetahs, 5 females and three males, on board would be the founding father of a brand new inhabitants in Kuno National Park, Madhya Pradesh.

Cheetahs will fly in a single day to go to through the coldest hours of the day. After touchdown in Jaipur within the morning, they are going to be transferred by helicopter to Kuno, the place they are going to be launched on Saturday (September 17) in specifically made enclosures by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Cheetah services have been developed, workers educated, and leopards hiding in enclosures have been eliminated. Still, everybody concerned will preserve their fingers crossed for the success of the primary intercontinental mission to introduce African cheetahs into the wild.
