Chelsea have been fined 25,000 kilos ($34,000) for failing to manage their gamers in a 1-1 Premier League draw towards Liverpool at Anfield final month, the Football Association (FA) stated on Wednesday.

Chelsea gamers clashed with their Liverpool counterparts and referee Anthony Taylor after the latter determined to ship defender Reece James in first-half stoppage time for a handball and pay a penalty, which was changed by Mohamed Salah.

“The club acknowledged its failure to ensure that its players conducted themselves systematically during both the 48th minute of the first half and after the half-time whistle,” the FA stated in an announcement.

Chelsea host Aston Villa on Saturday and Liverpool journey to Leeds United on Sunday.
