Chris Noth will not be part of the CBS collection The Equalizer within the wake of sexual harassment allegations towards the actor.
Universal Television and CBS made a joint announcement on Monday that Noth would not be part of filming “effective immediately.”
Noth performs a former CIA director on The Equalizer, which stars Queen Latifah. Nothing will seem in at the least one upcoming episode.
Noth’s representatives didn’t instantly touch upon The Equalizer’s determination.
Two girls accuse Noth The sexual assault case in a narrative reported final week by The Hollywood Reporter. Noth vehemently denied the allegations, which date again to 2004 and 2015.
“The allegations towards me by folks I met years, even a long time in the past, are clearly false. These tales might have been 30 years in the past or 30 days in the past – not all the time under no circumstances – It’s a line I have not crossed,” Noth stated in an announcement to the reporter.

Series stars Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon and Kristin Davis issued a joint assertion on social media on Monday, saying they have been saddened by the allegations towards Noth however supported their accusers.
“We support the women who have come forward and shared their traumatic experiences,” learn an announcement signed by the trio. “We know this must be a very difficult thing to do and we applaud them for that.”
