Danish midfielder Christian Eriksson has been discharged from hospital after a profitable operation, days after he collapsed on the pitch throughout Denmark’s Euro 2020 opener, the Danish Football Association mentioned on Friday.
Ericsson had a heart-starter system implanted after his collapse because of cardiac arrest. His life was saved when he was given CPR on the pitch and his coronary heart was restarted with a defibrillator earlier than being taken to the hospital.
