Complaint in opposition to Mamata for ‘insulting the nationwide anthem’

A BJP member has filed a grievance in a Justice of the Peace’s courtroom in opposition to West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, in search of registration of an FIR in opposition to her for allegedly insulting the nationwide anthem.

The grievance alleges that Banerjee, whereas attending a operate in Mumbai on December 1, sang the primary two verses of the nationwide anthem in a sitting place, then sang two extra verses whereas standing after which ‘instantly stopped’.

The grievance alleges that an offense below the Prevention of Insults to National Honor Act, 1971 has been dedicated by him. The complainant alleges that no FIR was registered regardless of her complaining to the police. It sought a path to the courtroom to register an FIR in opposition to him.
