The Congress Working Committee assembly started on the celebration headquarters in New Delhi at round 10 am on Saturday.

“There are re-elections in some states. Till 2024, there will probably be steady elections in some state or group of states. I believe the precedence of the celebration needs to be to win these elections or strengthen its place slightly than considering on these points. There are challenges earlier than the celebration and there are massive challenges earlier than the nation… there are problems with democratic values, problems with weaker sections, unemployment… the financial system is in very unhealthy form. All these items are very pricey to the Congress. I believe we must always give attention to these points and on profitable elections within the states. Everyone understands this… however anyway, if the celebration feels that elections needs to be held, we’re prepared for elections as nicely,” CWC member Harish Rawat informed The Indian Express.
However, some G-23 leaders mentioned that the CWC might set a deadline for holding the membership drive, which was final held in 2016-17 for organizational elections.
