“Given that it was almost impossible for the patient to recover from the present condition of multi-organ failure, the family was informed about the same. The hospital is not in a position or legally empowered to extract a man’s sperm without his explicit consent. The moment the direction is received from the High Court, the process is completed and the sperm is preserved for the family to pursue IVF treatment in future. We are with all the family in this difficult time,” the hospital stated in a press release on Wednesday.
According to a household buddy, the couple bought married in October 2020 and lived in Canada. He had returned to India in March this 12 months after the person’s father suffered a critical coronary heart situation.
