A prisoner present process therapy for COVID-19 at Diphu Medical College and Hospital in Assam’s Karbi Anglong district escaped, police mentioned on Saturday.
He mentioned the prisoner was admitted to the COVID ward of the hospital after testing constructive on Thursday afternoon.
He advised that he escaped from the hospital on Friday night time.
He was arrested on June 12 from Matipung underneath Diphu police station space after an enormous amount of medicine was recovered from him.
He was in judicial custody.
The police have began large raids to nab the prisoner.
