Deadpool Joins MCU, Ryan Reynolds Announced With ‘Most Expensive Reaction Video’

It’s official. Deadpool has joined the Marvel Cinematic Universe. In a video shared Tuesday evening, Hollywood star Ryan Reynolds confirmed it in his distinctive signature type. Reynolds additionally promoted his newest launch, Free Guy, via the announcement.

Reynolds shared a ‘response video’ in his Free Guy trailer that featured Deadpool and Thor Ragnarok’s beloved character Korg, voiced by filmmaker-actor Taika Waititi. “If you include Deadpool’s cocaine rider, this is the most expensive reaction video ever,” the actor joked on social media.

Of course, your entire video is just about meta within the vein of blockbuster Deadpool films. At the tip of the clip, Deadpool asks Korg for recommendation on getting into the MCU. To which the ‘Stony’ character responds with this hysterical reply, “Uh, have a dream… uh, chase it. Lose that dream. Just sabotage all kinds of happiness in pursuit of that dream.” Climb to the tops of that mountain and while you attain the highest, descend and notice that you’re by no means going to attain that dream, and at that time, examine your emails. Get one thing like, ‘Marvel desires to speak.'”

Previously, Marvel boss Kevin Feige shared that when the character enters the MCU pantheon, they won’t be downgraded to R-rated content material from subsequent Deadpool films.

Meanwhile, Free Guy, which stars Ryan Reynolds, Jodie Comer and Taika Waititi in lead roles, will launch on August 13.
