Defending champion Naomi Osaka out of Australian Open

Defending champion Naomi Osaka misplaced to Amanda Anisimova within the third spherical of the Australian Open on Friday. Osaka crashed out after dropping 4-6, 6-3, 7-6 (10-5) to world Sixtieth-ranked Anisimova. It was the primary assembly between four-time Grand Slam winner Osaka and Anisimova, who will tackle Australian world primary Ash Barty for a quarter-final spot of the 12 months’s opening main at Melbourne Park.
