Dehradun remembers its silent historian Raj Kanwar

DEHRADUN: Five days after the demise of prolific journalist, writer, entrepreneur and historian Raj Kanwar of Doon Valley, his household and mates gathered within the metropolis on Saturday to rejoice his life and achievements.

According to his elder son Manav, Kanwar had suffered a coronary heart assault and was within the hospital.

Uttarakhand CM Pushkar Singh Dhami and lots of senior journalists have condoled the demise of Kanwar. Dhami stated that Kanwar’s demise is an irreparable loss to the sector of journalism. Uttarakhand DGP Ashok Kumar stated that he got here to learn about Kanwar via his articles in newspapers like The Indian Express, the place Kanwar used to work as a stringer.
