A 32-year-old building employee died when a number of shanties of an under-construction mall collapsed at Chandni Chowk on Sunday. His physique was pulled out from the rubble on Tuesday night time after an almost two-day rescue operation by the Delhi Fire Service and the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF). At least six to eight different staff suffered minor accidents.
The deceased has been recognized as Asarful, a resident of Bihar. He was earlier reported lacking.
The Delhi Police on Wednesday mentioned {that a} case has been registered towards the mall officers. “With Ashraful’s body found, we will take legal action against the mall authorities and the construction company or contractors.
