Delhi: Fire breaks out at Rohingya refugee camp, 53 shanties gutted, no casualties

A hearth broke out in 53 shanties housing Rohingya Muslim refugees in southeast Delhi’s Sarita Vihar on Saturday night time. Police stated no casualties have been reported and the fireplace was suspected to have been brought on by a brief circuit.

According to the Delhi Fire Service (DFS), a fireplace was reported from Kalindi Kunj in Madanpur Khadar at 11:54 pm.

Initially, seven hearth tenders have been despatched to the spot. After the fireplace unfold, three extra hearth tenders have been pressed into service. A DFS official stated it took three hours to deliver the fireplace below management.

According to the police, the precise explanation for the fireplace is but to be ascertained.
