In a bid to make Delhi the “Electric Vehicle Capital of India”, the town authorities has determined to construct electrical car charging stations in any respect authorities workplaces within the nationwide capital which can be prepared in three months. To promote electrical mobility, the Kejriwal authorities has directed all departments to put in EV charging stations of their respective authorities buildings.

In the September-November quarter, electrical car gross sales in Delhi outperformed the gross sales of CNG and diesel automobiles, an official assertion stated.

In September and November 2021, EV gross sales in Delhi elevated by 9.2 per cent. CNG car gross sales, alternatively, fell by 6.5 per cent in November.
