The Delhi High Court on Friday took word of the violation of COVID-19 protocols in numerous markets within the nationwide capital and stated such violations would solely intensify the third wave which can’t be allowed.
The High Court requested the Center and the Delhi authorities to take strict steps on this regard, sensitize the shopkeepers and maintain conferences with the markets and distributors’ associations.
A trip bench of Justice Navin Chawla and Justice Asha Menon took word of some images despatched by an AIIMS physician to one of many High Court judges, displaying little respect for COVID-19 protocols by road distributors in markets. Huh.
“We have paid a big price in the second wave. We do not know whether there is any house which has not suffered in the second wave, near or far,” the bench stated.
