Legendary actor Dharmendra’s social media accounts are a treasure trove of the golden age of cinema. Actors typically share unknown information about their profession within the movie trade or drop some fact bombs. On Monday, Dharmendra revealed that after his display take a look at was rejected.
The actor posted an image with actor Sadhna and revealed how he missed the chance to work with Sadhna in Love Mein Shimla, however later, featured along with her in Ishq Pe Zor Nahi.
“Sadhana, a fine artist, a lovely person. I was given a screen test to work with him in Love in Shimla but he rejected. In this maikhana on the backside… the jams get cloudy,” wrote Dharmendra. After Dharmendra’s rejection, Love in Shimla was remade underneath the management of Joy Mukherjee and Sadhana. Interestingly, Love In Shimla was launched in 1960 whereas Ishq Par Zor Nahi was launched a decade later in 1970.
This shouldn’t be the primary time Dharmendra has remembered Sadhna. The actor posted one other image of himself with Sadhna in May and regretted that he starred in just one movie along with her.
Earlier this month, the legendary actor tweeted a humorous scene from the 1984 superhit Insaaf Kaun Karega wherein he starred reverse Rajinikanth. Dharmendra wrote in his tweet, “Rajni a dear friend a great actor…a funny scene with him…hope you enjoy it.”
Rajinikanth and Dharmendra additionally shared display area in Anil Sharma’s 1991 movie Farishtey.
