Speaking to the media on the sidelines of the 67th National Film Awards ceremony on Monday, producer Antony Perumbavoor mentioned that he’s operating out of persistence as he can’t maintain again his new movie Marakkar: Arabikadalinte Singham.
“I can’t wait any longer. I am thinking whether to release it in theaters or on OTT. Big films are waiting to be made from Markar,” Antony instructed the media.
Antony Perumbavoor famous that he had saved Marakkar: Arabikadalinte Singham for 2 years in anticipation of a theatrical launch, however circumstances should not conducive for the movie’s theatrical launch. “Back in the day, we used to work overnight to ensure smooth release in theatres. But, releasing Marakkar in theaters with other films expecting 50 per cent occupancy and profit making is not easy,” he argued.

The movie was scheduled to launch in May 2020. However, the outbreak of Covid-19 pressured the filmmakers to postpone the discharge indefinitely.
