New Delhi: The Boxing Federation of India (BFI) appointed veteran coach Dmitriy Dmitruk because the overseas coach of the Indian boxing staff for the following two years. Prior to taking on the position in India, he was the High Performance Coach for the Irish Athletic Boxing Association (IABA) in addition to the Irish nationwide junior and youth groups for the previous 12 years.

The 47-year-old performed a key position in boosting the efficiency of the Irish boxing staff and nurturing younger expertise throughout his stint in Ireland. He has coached notable boxers similar to Joe Ward to world championship silver medals in 2015 and 2017 and Grainne Walsh to bronze medals on the 2019 European Games.
