Dortmund’s Jude Bellingham fined for ‘match-fixing’ remarks

Borussia Dortmund midfielder Jude Bellingham has been fined by the German soccer federation for remarks a few referee following his workforce’s Bundesliga loss to Bayern Munich on Saturday.

Bellingham have been pissed off by the controversial choices of referee Felix Xaver, who was beforehand concerned in a match-fixing scandal centered round referee Robert Hoyzer, which was uncovered in 2005.

After Bayern’s 3–2 win, a clearly irritated Bellingham informed Norwegian broadcaster Wyplay, “You give a referee what, you know, is the biggest match-fixed game in Germany, what do you expect? ?”

The soccer federation’s sports activities court docket reacted on Tuesday when it fined 18-year-old Bellingham 40,000 euros ($45,000) for “uncomfortable behaviour”.

Bellingham and Dortmund have accepted the sanction, which means he’s free to play in opposition to Bochum within the Bundesliga on Saturday.
