ED arrests former NSE CEO Ravi Narayan in cash laundering case

The Enforcement Directorate on Tuesday arrested former NSE CEO and MD Ravi Narayan in a cash laundering case.

His function is being investigated by the Federal Investigation Agency as a part of two prison circumstances – the alleged co-location ‘rip-off’ case and the alleged unlawful telephone tapping of staff.

Narayan is known to have been arrested within the tapping case underneath prison sections of the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA).

The ED had earlier arrested Chitra Ramakrishna, one other former MD and CEO of the National Stock Exchange (NSE), within the alleged telephone tapping case, whereas the CBI, which is probing these circumstances parallelly, booked him within the co-location case. was arrested.
