World leaders have gathered in Glasgow to take part within the COP26 local weather summit – the United Nations conference on stopping the devastating results of local weather change.

The summit comes six years after greater than 190 nations signed the Paris Agreement to restrict rising world temperatures to beneath 2°C with a view to reaching 1.5°C.

The two-week occasion, from October 31 to November 12, will see leaders from greater than 190 nations, 1000’s of negotiators, researchers and residents come collectively to strengthen the worldwide response to the specter of local weather change.
