Elon Musk says Twitter authorized staff instructed him he violated an NDA

Elon Musk on Saturday that Twitter Inc’s authorized staff accused him of violating a nondisclosure settlement by revealing that the pattern dimension for the social media platform’s checks on automated customers was 100.

“Twitter legal just called to complain that I violated their NDA by revealing the bot check sample size is 100!” tweeted Musk, chief government of electrical automobile maker Tesla Inc.

Musk on Friday tweeted that his $44-billion money deal to take the corporate non-public was “temporarily on hold” whereas he awaited information on the proportion of its faux accounts.

He stated his staff would check “a random sample of 100 followers” on Twitter to determine the bots. His response to a query prompted Twitter’s allegations.

When a consumer requested Musk to “elaborate on process of filtering bot accounts,” he replied: “I picked 100 as the sample size number, because that is what Twitter uses to calculate <5% fake/spam/duplicate."

Musk tweeted throughout the early hours of Sunday that he’s but to see “any” evaluation that exhibits that the social media firm has faux accounts lower than 5%.

He later stated that “There is some chance it might be over 90% of daily active users.”
