Production on the subsequent chapter within the Planet of the Apes franchise has formally begun. Titled Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes, the filming of the movie started on the prestigious Fox Studios Australia in Sydney, New South Wales, which has been renamed Disney Studios Australia, reviews leisure information web site Variety.
The Maze Runner director Wes Ball is directing the movie, which begins a wholly new chapter within the franchise, lifted a number of years after the conclusion of 2017’s War for the Planet of the Apes.
The movie will function an ensemble solid of Owen Teague, Freya Allen, Peter Macon, Eka Darville and Kevin Durand. The screenplay is by Josh Friedman, Rick Jaffa and Amanda Silver and Patrick Aison. Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes will likely be produced by Joe Hartwick Jr., Jaffa, Silver and Jason Reid with Peter Chernin and Geno Topping as government producers.
Planet of the Apes is among the first main Fox franchises to be revamped after the Disney deal. The franchise is predicated on the 1963 novel by Pierre Boulle. The first Planet of the Apes movie was launched in 1968, adopted by a sequence of sequels and a TV present.
In 2001, Tim Burton directed a remake starring Mark Wahlberg. A brand new trilogy of prequel movies started in 2011 with Rupert Wyatt’s Rise of the Planet of the Apes, adopted by 2014’s Dawn of the Planet of the Apes and War for the Planet of the Apes, which have been launched in 2017.
Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes will likely be launched in 2024.
