Engineer of P305 narrowly escaped accident, FIR lodged towards lacking captain

On Monday, a case was registered towards the captain of the Barge P305, which was submerged within the Arabian Sea on Monday resulting from cyclone weights. The loss of life toll within the accident rose to 49 on Thursday. At least 26 others are lacking, together with the captain.

An engineer who narrowly escaped the accident lodged a criticism with the Yellowgate Police Station in Mumbai. The offense has been registered beneath sections 304 (2), 338 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).

The barge P305 was a vessel working for the Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) off the coast of Mumbai.
