England girls’s workforce hit by Covid-19, Pro League video games towards India postponed

Following the announcement by the International Hockey Federation (IHF), Hockey India (HI) confirmed that the England girls’s workforce have needed to cancel their journey to India for the double-header FIH Pro League matches on April 2 and three as a result of a number of members of the workforce testing optimistic for Covid-19 whereas some have been unavailable as a result of accidents within the squad. However, the matches between India and England males’s groups shall be performed as per schedule.

The two world-class groups taking to the sphere was massively anticipated as hockey followers across the globe have been wanting ahead to the Indian Women’s Team and England tackle one another.

Commenting on rescheduling the India-England Women’s matches, Hockey India President Gyanandro Ningombam stated, “It is unfortunate that the England Women’s Hockey Team had to cancel their India trip for the weekend matches in Bhubaneswar. We understand these are challenging times for every team as we all continue to battle the pandemic.”
