Evan Tony reveals he was racially abused after Brentford win

Brentford striker Ivan Toni revealed a racist message he was despatched after scoring twice within the Premier League membership’s 2-0 win over Brighton.

Tony, who’s Black, shared screenshots of an Instagram Direct Message containing racist language on Saturday.

Tony wrote on his Twitter account, “I wasn’t even going to post this, but I woke up with a rage.”

Brentford condemned the “disgusting, racist abuse” and known as on legislation enforcement and Instagram’s father or mother firm to behave swiftly.
