Former South Africa captain Faf du Plessis was on Saturday named the icon and captain of the Bangla Tigers forward of the fifth version of the Abu Dhabi T10 event.
“It is an exciting new format to be part of. I look forward to joining some of the biggest names in the world in this league and representing Team Bangla Tigers,” Du Plessis stated in a launch.

Du Plessis performed 69 Tests, 143 ODIs and 50 T20Is for South Africa in a profession that started in 2011. He has additionally captained South Africa in all three codecs.
