Farmers in Punjab sat on railway tracks on Monday morning as a part of the United Kisan Morcha’s six-hour ‘rail roko’ protest demanding the dismissal and arrest of Union Minister Ajay Mishra in reference to the violence in Uttar Pradesh’s Lakhimpur Kheri.
The Samyukta Kisan Morcha (SKM), an umbrella physique for farmers’ unions protesting in opposition to agricultural legal guidelines since final 12 months, mentioned the protests started at 10 am at the moment at 20 locations in 11 districts of Punjab.

A railway official mentioned the protesters blocked 4 sections of Firozpur division.
