Filmmaker Vijay Galani passes away

Hindi filmmaker Vijay Galani died in London on Wednesday on account of organ failure. He was affected by blood most cancers and was in search of therapy in London.

Indian Motion Picture Producers Association (IMPPA) President TP Agarwal confirmed the information of Galani’s demise. He instructed indianexpress.com, “Galani was suffering from blood cancer and was undergoing treatment in London, he had surgery a few weeks back and it was successful. Suddenly he lost a limb and died on Wednesday. He died. The family is in London as they were with him during his treatment.”

Filmmaker Ramesh Taurani took to Instagram to mourn the demise of Vijay Galani. Sharing an image of the late producer, Taurani wrote, “Very unfortunate and sad to learn about the passing of our dear friend Vijay Galani.. May his soul rest in peace..Deepest condolences to his family and friends..peace. 🙏🙏 #ripvijaygallani.”

Film commerce analyst Atul Mohan took to Twitter to condole Galani’s demise.

Film exhibitor and distributor Akshay Rathi additionally expressed his condolences on Twitter.

Vijay Galani starred in Salman Khan’s Sooryavanshi (1992), Govinda and Manisha Koirala’s Achanak (1998), Akshay Kumar’s Ajnabee (2001), Paresh Rawal and Mallika Sherawat’s Bachche Rehna Re Baba (2005), Salman Khan’s Veer (2010). Supported many Bollywood motion pictures like His final manufacturing enterprise was Vidyut Jammwal and Shruti Haasan’s The Power (2021).
