A day after Congress leaders defied prohibitory orders on Friday and took out protests within the New Delhi district, the Delhi Police on Saturday registered an FIR in opposition to them for obstructing public servants and injuring them to discourage them from performing their duties.
DCP (New Delhi) Amrutha Guguloth mentioned, “We have registered an FIR at Tughlaq Road police station beneath IPC sections 186 (obstructing public servants), 188 (disobeying order of public servant) 332 (voluntary harm to discourage public servant from obligation) and 34 (widespread intention).”
Police mentioned one other FIR has been registered beneath IPC Section 188 in opposition to Congress leaders and occasion staff for violating Section 144 of the CrPC..
