The Faridabad police have registered 4 extra FIRs towards 15 folks for allegedly promoting authorities land “fraudulently” to residents of Khori village. This comes a day after a number of residents lodged complaints with the Suraj Kund police station and Case registered towards 16 folks.

DCP (NIT) Dr Anshu Singla stated, “A total of 25 FIRs have been registered against those who fraudulently marked up plots on government land and sold them to people. We have started investigation in these cases and some arrests are expected soon.”

On July 7, Khori village was below the shadow of demolition after the Supreme Court directed the Faridabad Municipal Corporation (MCF) to “remove encroachment on forest land without exception”.
