Union Social Justice Minister Dr Virendra Kumar on Thursday stated that the federal government will launch the primary allotment of post-matric scholarships for scheduled caste college students on December 6.
“This year post matric scholarship will be given to 10 lakh students and the government will disburse an amount of Rs 5,000 crore through direct benefit transfer,” he stated.
The cupboard had accredited streamlining the scholarship in December 2020.
