First vaccination dose given to all eligible folks: Uttarakhand CM

The Uttarakhand authorities on Sunday introduced that it has achieved the goal of 100 per cent first dose vaccination in opposition to Covid-19 among the many eligible inhabitants within the state.

Talking to reporters on Sunday, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami stated that greater than 74 lakh folks have obtained their first dose within the state and out of them greater than 34.68 lakh folks have obtained their second dose. In August, Dhami introduced that his authorities would vaccinate everybody within the state over the following 4 months.

“Our target was to get everyone vaccinated by December. We have achieved this target ahead of time. All those who were eligible, except pregnant women and those who could not be vaccinated due to health reasons, have been given the first dose of vaccine,” Dhami stated whereas thanking the officers and well being staff.

So far, 6 states and union territories have accomplished 100 per cent first dose vaccination – Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu, Goa, Himachal Pradesh, Ladakh, Lakshadweep and Sikkim.
