Five women rescued after Nigeria’s newest mass abduction, say police

Police in Zamfara state stated on Thursday that 5 of the 73 kids kidnapped from a faculty in northwestern Nigeria had been rescued, though different sources gave completely different particulars after the mass abduction.

“The victims were medically examined at the hospital, interrogated by the police and reunited with their families,” it stated.

However, UNICEF stated in a press release that 100 college students aged 14 to 19 and a trainer have been kidnapped, 23 of whom managed to flee and returned dwelling. Two of them had been shot.
