Former Brazil coach Tite ‘robbed’ in Rio

Former Brazil boss Tite was allegedly robbed in a Rio avenue after which detonated by the thief because the nation was knocked out of the World Cup, Brazilian newspaper O Globo reported.

Tite had been answerable for the Brazil group since 2016 – and even led them to Copa America success three years in the past – however resigned following their World Cup quarter-final exit to Croatia.

Brazil was one of many favorites to win the match, having returned to Brazil after the frustration in Qatar.

During his time managing the Brazil group, he received the 2019 Copa América and was runner-up two years later. However, in each the 2018 and 2022 World Cups, they misplaced on the quarter-final stage towards Belgium and Croatia respectively.

After Brazil’s World Cup exit, Tite stated, ‘The cycle has ended and I stated it a 12 months and a half in the past and I stand by my phrases. We cannot fake. There are different nice professionals who can change me. The cycle is over.

The Brazilian is now eyeing Tite’s alternative, and after being turned down by Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti, they’re reportedly eyeing Roma supervisor Jose Mourinho.
