The Elysee and the White House stated on Wednesday that France would ship its ambassador again to Washington subsequent week following French President Emmanuel Macron’s cellphone name with President Joe Biden over the submarine dispute.
Elysee and the White House stated in a joint assertion that the 2 heads of state have “decided to open a process of in-depth consultation, aimed at creating conditions to ensure trust.” The assertion stated that Macron and Biden will meet in Europe on the finish of October.
The French ambassador will “work intensively with senior US officials” after returning to the United States subsequent week.
Biden and Macron agreed that the scenario would profit from open discussions between allies on issues of strategic curiosity to France and our European companions, the assertion stated.

France withdrew its ambassador after the US, Australia and Britain introduced a brand new Indo-Pacific protection deal final week.
