Film director Jean-Luc Godard, the godfather of France’s New Wave cinema, died Tuesday on the age of 91, French newspaper Liberation stated, citing individuals near the Franco-Swiss director.
Goddard was one of many world’s most acclaimed administrators, identified for classics comparable to “Breathless” and “Contempt”, which pushed cinematic boundaries and impressed iconoclastic administrators within the late Nineteen Sixties.
