“Go to the Taliban. Petrol in Afghanistan is being offered at Rs 50 per liter. No one there’s even asking for it. At least we now have safety right here (India). India has already confronted two Covid waves and the third is about to return,” the BJP chief is heard saying in a video that has now gone viral.

Further, the BJP chief is heard advising the journalist to “understand the situation in the country” and praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi for “controlling the situation”.
