Government nod for doubling of railway traces in Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh

The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs, chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, on Wednesday authorized doubling of Rajkot-Kanalus railway line in Gujarat and Neemuch-Ratlam line in Madhya Pradesh. The venture is estimated to value Rs 1,080.58 crore and its completion value is Rs 1,168.13 crore, the federal government mentioned in a press release. The complete size of doubling of tracks is 111.20 km and the venture will probably be accomplished in 4 years. Speaking to reporters in Gujarat through video-conferencing from Delhi, Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav mentioned that the doubling of the 111-km observe between Rajkot and Kanalus will create new financial potentialities.
