The Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs on Tuesday accepted mission proposals for over 60,000 homes throughout 5 states — Andhra Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Himachal Pradesh, Karnataka and Rajasthan — on the 58th assembly of Central Sanctioning and Monitoring Committee (CSMC) underneath the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Urban).

The whole variety of sanctioned homes underneath PMAY(U) now stand at 114.04 lakh, of which round 93.25 lakh have been grounded for development and round 54.78 Lakh have been accomplished and delivered to the beneficiaries, based on the ministry.

The whole funding underneath the mission stands at Rs 7.52 lakh crore, with central help of Rs 1.87 lakh crore.

So far, central help amounting to Rs 1.21 lakh crore has already been launched, the ministry mentioned.

The assembly on Tuesday was chaired by secretary on the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs (MoHUA) Manoj Joshi.
