Singh stated the rules envisaged that Indian entities, whether or not in authorities or outdoors, can be free to amass, acquire, generate, put together, disseminate, retailer, share, publish, distribute, replace, digitize or create geospatial knowledge, together with maps, of any spatial accuracy throughout the territory of India, together with underwater inside its territorial waters, by utilizing any geospatial expertise, topic to laws on attributes within the unfavorable lists.
“Terrestrial mobile-mapping survey, street-view survey and surveying in Indian territorial waters shall be permitted only for Indian entities irrespective of accuracy,” Singh stated in the course of the Question Hour.
