Harbhajan Singh apologizes unconditionally for Instagram submit on Bhindranwale

Veteran Indian off-spinner Harbhajan Singh on Monday tendered an unconditional apology for a social media submit through which he shared an image of Khalistani terrorist Jarnail Singh Bhindranwale to pay tribute to these killed in 1984’s ‘Operation Bluestar’.

The 40-year-old off-spinner stated he posted a WhatsApp ahead on the thirty seventh anniversary of the operation, with out realizing that the person within the image was Bhindranwale.

“I simply wish to make clear and apologize for an Instagram submit yesterday. It was a WhatsApp ahead I posted in a rush and with out even realizing the content material used and what it represents and stands for,” he stated in an apology word posted on Twitter.

“It was my fault which I admit, and at no stage do I subscribe to the views in that submit or assist the individuals whose image was taken. I’m a Sikh who will struggle for India and never India towards.

“This is my unconditional apology for hurting the sentiments of my nation. In fact any anti-national group against my people, I do not support and never will,” he stated.

Operation Bluestar was a army operation carried out in 1984 to drive out terrorists from the Golden Temple in Amritsar. Bhindranwale was the chief of that insurgent motion and was killed together with many others in the course of the operation.

Harbhajan stated, “I have given my blood and sweat for this country for 20 years and will never support anything anti-India.”

The veteran has performed 103 Tests for India, taking 417 wickets.
